Holken was built in the nineteenth century and is
situated just besides a little brook, well protected in the woods.
In the old times, people used to stop here to drink from the healthy
natural spring located just besides Holken. The little ancient
building with the spring is still there.
Holken lies approximately 1,5 km from the lake,
a half hour (km) walk through a beautiful and quit forest. At
the lake you have access to row boats and a beach for swimming.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen
with cook top, oven and refrigerator and a large living room with
an open fireplace. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and
a bathroom with toilet and shower. There are 2+2 beds.
Moreover there is of course hot and cold water,
television, coffee machine, outdoor furniture, barbecue and a
vacuum cleaner.
